The Ray Houle Construction team took on this unique project where we split the 36,000 SQFT 2nd floor of their 48 Sanderson St property into 10 separate project-phases. The practice could not close down operations for any length of time as it would have significant impact on their revenue so our crew had to plan the project around this and build our phases that was acceptable to their operations, however our team had to be careful and considerate given the amunt of work being performed in the corridors, stairwells and public egress paths. It required our crew to work nights and weekends to complete the project on time.
This project and its unique scheduling in not a-typical for us, however the large SQFT area was made more difficult because of the aggressive time-line that the hospital required. We had cosmetic finish updates to do throughout the floor and the installation of new HVAC, Plumbing and electrical components. The building authority made us treat each phase as if it were its own project in order to allow the tenants to occupy immediately following the close of each phase.
Our team is proud to have met the customer’s aggressive timeline despite the fact that they added a significant worth of work during the course of the project.
